John Capuano
Founder
John grew up in Schenectady, NY & received a scholarship to Norwich Academy. He began his broadcast management career at WOR, learning spoken word marketing from the best in the business with a specialty in financial and long form. John managed broadcast sales for some of the best known sports teams in the world, at the most legendary stations. However his true passion is in the world of direct response advertising to baby boomers and their parents. In this space he has worked with some of the best brands in America. John lives in Boston with his wife, Melissa who is also a broadcast executive, and French Bulldogs Lou and Sal.
Greg Dinetz
Founder
Greg has a long history of executive management. After earning his degree in Communications he began his career as a media account executive. After successfully rising through the management ranks in the broadcasting industry Greg set his sights on media ownership. He was funded by a number of respected private equity firms and began acquiring radio stations. He led the due diligence and valuation of assets, and orchestrated a leveraged buyout. While serving as CEO of the broadcast entities he was also responsible for the regulatory compliance of all media licenses.
Zoe Menendez
Digital Media Manager
Before Zoe came to us she worked with two well-known New England advertising agencies where she honed her skills at digital marketing serving both local and national accounts. She attended Johnson and Wales University where she won two national collegiate advertising titles and graduated with a BS, as well an MBA in Advertising and Marketing. Zoe is a native New Englander and grew up in New Hampshire, but happily for us left for the city life in Boston where she resides and is a proud mom to her cat, Winston.

Alexa Gordon
Senior Account Manager
Alexa comes to Lone Beacon from a six-year tenure in the radio industry. She has served in various event production, sales and account-facing roles with expertise in large scale buys and managing campaign elements across all media channels. She received her undergraduate degree from Suffolk University, where she had the opportunity to spend an entire year living in Madrid, Spain and traveling throughout Europe. She received her Masters from Northeastern University.
In her free time, Alexa enjoys traveling, attending as many concerts as possible and spending time with family, friends, and her dog! Originally from Barnstable, MA, Alexa now resides in the neighborhood of the North End.
Jeff Shade
Production Manager
Jeff Shade is a featured co-host for financial advisors across the country, giving them the professional sound he’s perfected over many years as a TV host, radio personality, audio-video editor, and voice over talent. A childhood spent glued to the TV and listening to the radio instead of studying prepared him for a career in broadcasting. His knowledge and understanding of the financial industry coupled with his broadcast expertise makes him a seamless and perfect fit for advisor’s radio shows.
Jeff has worked with personalities like Matt Lauer and Don Imus, and voiced hundreds of commercials, promos, and narrations during his long career. He returned to writing, producing, and promoting his “Classic Car Garage” show in 2015, and has since added restoring vintage cars to his resume. Jeff resides north of Seattle where he can “be out of the country to an English-speaking country in about 30 minutes.”
Mayte Talavera
Account Director
Mayte is from Los Angeles, California currently living in Denver, Colorado. She graduated with a BA in Communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Mayte’s experience includes eight years working for a children’s mental health agency. Her marketing career began in Beverly Hills, assisting with lifestyle brand events for an experiential digital marketing agency. When Mayte is out of the office you can find her with her two dogs, Kylo and Ryu.
Kirby G Mack
Vice President of Digital Media
For over a decade, Kirby enjoyed a successful career in professional wrestling with appearances in both WWE and TNA Impact Wrestling. Unfortunately a career ending neck injury would force Kirby out of the ring, and behind the scenes. He eventually took over the position of Vice President of Production and Marketing for the American Wrestling Association. Kirby is an expert in graphic design and web development, and has a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality. He’s won numerous awards for his work in branding campaigns across the U.S. and holds degrees in Commercial Graphic Arts and Computer Technology.
Kirby’s entire wardrobe consists of sweat pants and basketball shorts. When not on the case for Lone Beacon, Kirby can be found doing anything, literally anything with his son or learning how to vacation with wife Rebecca. Kirby can also be seen as a featured extra in such films as The Hunger Games and Masterminds, as well as the television shows Banshee, and Homeland.
From concept to construction, Kirby is a tremendous resource for the team here at Lone Beacon and to this day he still refuses to wear a tie.
Laura McLaughlin
Content Manager
Laura comes to Lone Beacon with experience in advertising in New York, where she was agency Imagine Mobile’s first U.S. hire. It was there where she honed her skills of applying content creation to digital platforms. In addition, she has held marketing roles in the competitive world of politics. Laura grew up in New Canaan CT and graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English and Philosophy.
Don Kwak
Director of Marketing Technology and Analytics
Don was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in LA before moving to Boston. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College before jumping into highly-regulated med-tech and software industries, building inbound and outbound marketing campaigns for rising disrupters and industry giants, such as GE. He brings a unique perspective stemming from his financial, technical, and medical background to Lone Beacon to help push the limits in revolutionizing digital marketing landscape for independent financial advisors.
David Bernstein
Director of Broadcast Development
As one of the top broadcast executives in the country, David has been recognized with dozens of industry awards from the Associated Press, Rolling Stone Magazine and many more. While running several major market radio networks, he set new performance standards and earned #1 rankings for his stations, most notably in New York City and Boston. From managing programming for gold-standard broadcast companies like CBS to coaching celebrities and radio personalities like Joan Rivers and Bill O’Reilly, David brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Lone Beacon.
Michael Schaffman
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Mike Schaffman joined Lone Beacon in 2015 where he pioneered their core marketing platform, creating content and connecting media and broadcast components with a turnkey digital solution. After strategically extracting, analyzing, and applying first party data across the core marketing platform, Mike helped transform Lone Beacon’s offerings and solutions into one of the leading independent financial advisor marketing tools that exist in the country today. His passion for helping clients across the country grow their business extends throughout the entire industry, as Mike’s been published and referenced in major financial outlets such as WealthManagement.com, FA-Mag.com, Advisor Perspectives, and Financial-Planning.com.
Mike grew up in West Hartford, CT, and came to Boston where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University, studying marketing and media, and graduating with cum laude honors. He started his career in Southern California working at an IMO, where he built and launched a successful digital marketing and lead capture platform. His extensive knowledge of the financial advisor industry and passion for marketing made him a perfect fit for Lone Beacon.
Currently, Mike lives in downtown Boston and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. When he’s not walking to and from work, or hanging out in the office, Mike plays golf and hockey, indulges in his Titos and soda with lemon, and likes to experiment in the kitchen.
Kasey Dean
Account Director
Kasey joins Lone Beacon from the sportswear industry, where she was a marketing manager overseeing the strategy, content creation, execution and analysis for New Balance Athletics’ first-ever customer rewards program. She has also managed a million-dollar media budget, creating content and measuring performance for paid and organic marketing campaigns. Kasey graduated from Brandeis University with a double major in Business & American Studies, where she was also two-year captain of the Varsity Women’s Basketball team. In her free time, Kasey enjoys being active and traveling as much as possible.
Todd Dinetz
Broadcast Media Buyer
Todd has over thirty years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry. With a degree in Communications, Todd graduated from the University of Arizona. He has an extensive sales and management background in both Radio and TV in the Long Island market where he served as the National Sales Manager and General Sales Manager for Cox radio group and as the Local Sales Manager for Cablevision and Altice. Most recently, Todd has worked on the agency side dealing directly with clients and being able to take advantage of all his long standing relationships with local and national broadcasting partners. Todd resides on Long Island with his wife Holly.
Christy Parmenter
Senior Account Director
Christy is a marketing professional specializing in email, and direct marketing. Her previous experience includes the advertising agency, Graziano Associates where she grew their digital lead capture strategies, and Home Serve USA where she helped to develop and execute their B to B email marketing platform. She grew up in Middletown CT and graduated with a BS in Marketing from Fairfield University. Christy also has a passion for world travel, which combined with her passion for marketing helps to gain a better sense of perspective on business and life.
Pete Gustin
Director of Production
Pete is one of the most sought-after voice-over talents in the business. He has been part of some of the largest ad campaigns in the country from Super Bowl spots for major athletic brands and international ad campaigns for the most popular gaming system on the planet. Pete was recently featured in Radio Ink, ABC’s Chronicle, The Boston Globe, NBC and CBS. He has written, voiced and produced thousands of commercials and is proud to be with Lone Beacon helping to build the brand of some of the nation’s finest financial advisors.
Craig Foster
Director of Digital Media
Craig comes to us after spending 7 years at an agency and working independently in digital marketing, focusing on campaign creation and strategy. He did most of his work at a bigger agency where he looked at problems and came up with strategies based on data. Craig grew up in the Boston area and graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Johnson and Wales University. When not working on digital marketing you might find him coaching a CrossFit class or spending time with his daughter.

Diana Salvucci
Vice President of Operations
Diana specializes in creating powerful and engaging marketing campaigns for financial service organizations. Her expertise lies in developing and executing comprehensive, strategic marketing plans for firms, practice groups, and individual professionals, focused on connecting with specific target markets. Diana has directed a wide range of marketing campaigns concentrating on client engagement, brand position, and corporate promotion. She has specific experience with digital marketing, email automation, website development, event planning, and public relations.
Diana is a graduate of University of Delaware, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Finance, with minors in International Business and Economics. She also held her FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside the office, Diana enjoys traveling to Cape Cod with her family. She has a passion for interior design, baking, and running. She currently resides in South Boston, MA.
Marcus Roth
Senior Director of Data, Automation & Content
Marcus joins Lone Beacon with a passion for content strategy, digital marketing tactics and marketing automation architecture. Marcus has a unique experience in B2B and B2C start-up companies ranging from enterprise-level market research of Artificial Intelligence to self-defense eCommerce products. His experience in AI market research brought him, and his research, to INTERPOL, The United Nations and Harvard University.
Marcus brings a proven and unique perspective on email marketing, CRM management, marketing automation, analytics, and digital strategy. He is excited to bring his expertise to every Lone Beacon client, examining and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to raise clients to new heights.
Marcus claims he has “too many hobbies”. Outside of the company, he is an avid swing dancer and strategy gamer. When he isn’t planning his next D&D campaign or competing in another national swing competition, you can find him on the disc golf course.

Riley Popovich
Marketing Automation Specialist
My name is Riley, I live in Santa Cruz, CA. When I am not helping companies grow, I am either surfing or spending time with my doggos. I am a Marketing Automation Specialist that leverages a wide variety of tools to help customers automate their marketing processes. I got started in Marketing in 2013 when I took a job at Act-On Software. During my time at Act-On, I helped hundreds of customers with their marketing efforts. Since then I have been working with companies all over the globe with their marketing automation and advertisement campaigns. I am always putting the customer first and helping them by being their growth enablement advocate.
Patrick Price
Graphic Designer & Web Developer
Patrick started his graphic design career after receiving a second degree at the Art Institute of Charlotte. Before joining Lone Beacon Patrick was a freelance artist and provided graphic and web design as well as video, audio, and live production services to many companies across the U.S. Patrick has honed his skills with a majority of high level professional wrestling companies most notably New Japan Pro Wrestling.
During his free time Patrick enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Katie and their 2 kids Cyrus (11) and Garrison (2). When Patrick isn’t knocking it out of the park for Lone Beacon, you can keep a watchful eye out for his work on Roku, AXS Tv, and NJPWWorld.
Courtney Kramer
Account Manager
Courtney joins Lone Beacon with a background in the professional services industry, most recently as Marketing Coordinator at a law firm in Boston.
Courtney graduated from Sacred Heart University, where she was President of the co-ed professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and played club tennis and basketball. She always knew she wanted to move to Boston! In her free time, Courtney loves to explore the city, play tennis, bake, take day trips to the beach, and spend time with friends and family.
Andrew Preshong

Andrew graduated from Framingham State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He has professional as well as freelance experience with Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Creation and Web Design. In Andrew’s free time he enjoys hanging with friends and family, golfing, ping pong, playing sports and yard sale flipping.
Charleston Swann

Charleston has more than 11 years of experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Analyst, SEO Manager and SEO Consultant. His specialty (in addition to placing your site on the first page of Google) is creating and applying SEO audits. Charleston enjoys reading and eating delicious foods. Charleston even made sure to place both short and long tailed keywords in this bio.
Richard Davis
Email Marketing Coordinator
Rich is a Massachusetts native who graduated from Bryant University with a BS Business Administration with a major in Marketing a concentration in Spanish and a minor in Psychology. During his time at Bryant, Richard undertook two internships with the Northeast Investment Group and Banneker Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. He was primarily responsible for working on each company’s social media platforms as well as helping Banneker with their email marketing.
In his free time, Rich likes to watch the New England sports teams as well as exercise and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Sarah DeLuke
Account Manager
Sarah comes to Lone Beacon as a new Bostonian from her home state of Connecticut. She graduated from Bryant University in 2018 (go Bulldogs!) and has a background in marketing from her previous role as a marketing manager for a large brick and mortar entertainment brand. Sarah has experience in brand strategy, event and PR planning, content creation, paid social media, and database marketing.
Sarah spends her weekends outdoors either at the beach or on the golf course. A goofball and young at heart, she’s all smiles all the time!
Tyler Dell'Aquila
Marketing Manager
Tyler joins Lone Beacon from the radio industry where he was an advertising campaign manager overseeing the coordination, execution and monitoring of millions of dollars in advertising and promotional marketing efforts for some of the largest brands in the country. He brings organization and a close attention to detail to everything he does to ensure success. Tyler spent his formative years in Tampa Bay and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Mia Wood
Account Manager
Mia is a recent graduate from The University of Alabama, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration in Computing Technologies & Applications and her master’s degree in Marketing. She joins Lone Beacon from a property management company where she managed the end-to-end leasing process for prospective residents, oversaw CRM data entry, and implemented a leading digital editing software for virtual floor plan staging.
In her free time, Mia is pursuing her Group Fitness Instructor license. A true adventurer and avid athlete, she likes to spend her free time exploring new places with her family and friends. Her favorite getaway is visiting Cape Cod with her family.
Graeme Mills
Content Manager
Graeme comes to Lone Beacon from the health-tech industry where he produced digital content ranging from research articles to multimedia blogs to videos. He brings his experience writing for a variety of audiences and platforms to Lone Beacon’s content initiatives. Graeme graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Economics and four years competing on the varsity fencing team.
As a fencer since the age of 10, Graeme claims that the multifaceted nature of the sport as one of creativity, strategy, and discipline, fueled his appetite for writing in different tones and styles for a range of media types and projects
